About Delia
​
Delia grew up in Whetstone, North London, and has written stories and poetry for as long as she can remember. Storytelling helped her escape a world she sometimes found baffling. Sharing her work with schoolmates, friends, and family gave her a sense of pride and self-worth. Later, she moved to Hertfordshire and set writing aside while raising her two girls.
After several courses to perfect her craft, her writing now includes short stories, poetry, picture books, and YA.
She loves entering competitions, where she finds great inspiration and often faces a challenging word count.
She has stories featured in three editions of The Toy magazine:

Delia hopes to inspire the next generation to believe that anything is possible and that imagination is just the beginning. She enjoys interacting with and supporting fellow writers. Making new connections and finding inspiration in the stories and successes posted on each writer's individual blog.
She looks forward to the day her granddaughter reads her stories and feels proud of Granny!
Delia now lives not far from the sea in Kent with her husband and golden doodle Ruby.
